Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, searching for a diagnosis

April 20, 2010 · Filed Under Uncategorized · 1 Comment

I made this video while I am searching for a diagnosis. I hope to find out if I do or don’t have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, or EDS. I have all of the symptoms, my joints are hypermobile and dislocate, my feet are flat, my skin is stretchy, ect. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome hypermobility type affects all of the connective tissues in your body. I am in constant pain that has worsened as I have gotten older. My joints click, pop, and dislocate, which causes a lot of pain. EDS also predisposes one to early onset of osteoarthritis. I am told that only a geneticist can diagnose EDS. Right now my diagnosis is Fibromyalgia and Bursitis, which are both common “wrong diagnoses” before find out one has EDS. I feel like an old lady sometimes and I hope that whatever is wrong that the pain can be helped as well as the hypermobile joints and joint pain. Thanks so much for watching and your support.
